At present there is no specific convertible section, and the messageboard is avalable to members and non members alike.

would anyone know if the wooden header rail should overhang the windsreen or be in line , mine is a south yorkshire mm conv. kit , a company probably now out of business , any close up pics of a conv build would be a godsend

I'm pretty sure they should all line up inside the car, with a slight overhang at the front (a few mm maybe) but ours is in bits at the moment. I'm sure somebody with one thats actually together will be along soon

Hi Kenny, I have a book, the Lindsay Porter restoration manual that has some good pictures on hood fitting that I refered to when I fitted Martins and Berts hoods. I will bring it on Thursday night to the club meeting. Dont forget the hood frame and wood, I dont have a phone number for Philip but will email him and ask him to remember his frame also. Also measure and write down the distance from the door edge and the rear parcel shelf to were the frame bracket is on the body.
