Hello

Another problem :(

I have installed my dual gauge and it works :)

The only problem i have encountered is that it leaks from the inside of the tube where the coiled tube goes in.

The adaptor is not leaking as it has the washer (copper) installed.

What can i do or use to correct this as it is only a drip but a few miles may turn into a pint etc.

Hi James I am not sure if they can be repaired especially if the leak is at the guage end, it may be worth giving one of the MG specialists a call as thats where the guage originates from and I would think that they now all the problems associated with this type of guage, fingers crossed.

We now install these guages with an electronic probe fixed to the rad rather than into the waterpipe, easy mod and similar costs

I assume the leak is where the 'bulb' end fits into the adapter in the cylinder head ? Should have a little seal of some sort on the bulb - but see no harm in applying a wipe of silicone and then tightening it all up.

Hello

I will apply some silicone its only a drip drip drip :(

there is no seal at all so that may be what is causing it.

The next part will be installing the oil pipe and routing it around the engine etc.

There should be a little copper ring seal.
