Now I see it all right. Maybe someone in the Morris Minor MM register section of this site might know more ?

Lowlight Series MM. Looks like VMG or YMG 631 which is not on my register or the DVLA database.
They probably destroyed it in the film

I actually bought this film on Amazon and was watching it last night. I'll look again and post the full registration tomorrow if I remember. Would it have used its real registration in the film or a fake one ? I know in the film towards the end 'the youth' (always getting the blame) sort of riot and the car gets turned upside down, but thats about as wrecked as it gets.

Hi. I looked at that film again last night and the registration is AMG 631. I also spotted what appeared to be a Minor Convertible and a Split screen Traveller.

If they needed more than one car to play the part (Dukes of Hazzard) then the reg. plate would get changed, otherwise they would not bother unless the reg was unsuitable ie personalized plate.

Handy to have that number of helpers around when the underside needs a spot of welding!

I also spotted this Traveller,
A better shot of Stennings Morris MM
A four door spilt screen in the fog.
and a possible Morris Convertable (at left. Only seen briefly and then only the op and rear of it so not sure)
Ps. The policeman in the upper shot (at left) with the Traveller is actually Sir. Michael Caine in an early appearance before he starred in Zulu.

www.imcdb.org is a great website for those who like spotting cars in movies, althought curiously I can't find any reference to this film on it.
