some parents are calling for a young lady that is on the childrens programs she has a dissabled arm which appears to have no hand she is attractive does her job very well ,parents say that it scares there kids, why should she lose her job for a few morons that dont understand dissability i have a daughter with much the same problem , she has had someawfull things said to her particulary at job interveiws , the parents which will be a small minority i think TURN THE TELLY OFF, i think there are people out there that think that life is a breeze well i hope they get a taste of dissablement during there life then see how loud they shout for there parking badges free road tax and benefits, believe me its no fun to watch your child growing up with dissabilitys these so called parents want to think them selves very lucky that there kids are ok,,grandad

She looks very pretty in that photo. Great role model for anyone else in the same situation.
Sadly the world is full of idiots.

How sad and narrow minded some people can be. We can only hope that some serious afflictions never happen to them or their families cause they will never cope !!!!

With all due respect, her looks have nothing to do with it.
Full credit to the tv producers for employing her in that role. If there is a problem it is entirely due to unsupportive/bigoted parents or carers who don't have the intellegence to answer the or pre-empt any questions children have in a compassionate and proactive manner.

Incredible how ignorant people are. I used to play Australian Rules Football with bloke with almost exactly the same disability, although if you'd ever seen him play you would think again about using that term. I bet the kids don't even care, it's the parents.

I thought it was relevant though my comment may appear superficial, perhaps even sexist, on reflection.
The girls looks are what the parents are complaining about which I find all the more surprising given she doesnt look like the back end of a routemaster!

People are such idiots! I used to work with a girl who had a mal-formed hand and missing chest muscle..we were both PERSONAL TRAINERS!!!!! I had so much admiration for her strength of character and her physical strength to do the job. She used to get idiots making comments to her too - made my blood boil - she was way fitter than I was or could ever hope to be!
Let's hope the BBC sort this out and tell the parents to educate their kids!

My two year old daughter watches Cbeebies. I have never seen this particular presenter, but I personally don't have any issues with my daughter watching her.

... I'm truly dumbfounded, you really have been brainwashed by the tabloid news industry in this country. Actually this would be non-pc and liberals would be inclined to allow a woman like this to continue doing her job. You are right that they are stupid and shallow but please dont bandy a couple of currently negatively used words. If anything these people are likely to be right wing and un-pc and they definitely are ignorant.

I suppose one could be accused of being brainwashed if sticking to a pc agenda! In fact there may not be a suppose about it.
