removing interior trim.
Hi all, I have a query. I intend to take out my internal trim panels in Miss Climpson my traveller and replace them with a washable set hand made myself. the problem is this...how do I get them out? I have pulled the back seat forward to have a look, tried wiggleing the seat squab nothing moved and even the bits which have curled over due to damp etc will go no further. I do not want to totally rip them out as I need them for my pattern, and will need to refit them when done. Thanks gang

For the side panels below the windows, remove the interior wood trim below the sliding windows, this gives access to the top of the trim panels, mine were tacked onto the wood frame behind, IIRC there is also either a screw or tack where the 2 panels join above the wheel arch.
The rear panel shoul then lift out, the front one (with the arm rest) has a screw at the bottom of the arm rest screwed into the car - hinge up the seat base to find it. It should then just lif out - there is a metal type prong thats right down at the bottom - next to the door pillar that slots in to hold the base of the panel in place.
I think thats all the fittings - from memory!
