Carb needle for 940 head/HIF38 carb

Has anyone got a "definitive" needle profile for this combination. I can understand all installations will vary, but I was hoping that someone might have got a close estimate rather than just a starting point! I am using standard 940 valve sizes.

AAA ! That's what I have - 1098 with standard 940 head and HIF38 carb on MG inlet manifold, with cone type filter. Sadly still on standard horribly constrictive Minor exhaust !!
