Time display on this board!

Its just dawned on me!! I set the time to -1 hour in my profile, so the posts read at GMT, but have since noticed they don't always read the "right" time.
Its taken me months to realize that, because my set-up won't automatically log me in each time, the time comes up +1hour until I DO log in. Dohhhh!

The server runs on local time. I haven't yet worked out how to change it. Even if I did, it would still be wrong nearly everywhere!

The Message Board clock is one hour ahead of my computer clock. I don't really stay up untill one o'clock in the morning posting messages.
Is there some EC Directive that says that websites must run on Central European Time?

It runs on the time that's local for the server - which is in central europe.......

So not only do we get palmed off with foreign made spares, we now have foreign servers and time zones. The world should run on GMT (and should be mainly red in colour in the atlas) :wink: :-? :lol:
