Radiator fan

Hi
My radiator fan is hitting the top of the radiator ,I have looked at the radiator and it is in the correct place...
I dunno if the engine is original, it is 1.1 I think...
The fan is plastic...

Wrong fan Mick - it should be 2 blades and metal on the Minor....

That explains it. You should have a metal fan. The blades are probably too long. It isn't a multi blade Mini fan is it? If it is then the blades are the wrong way round and it is trying to blow air back through the radiator.

Where did the plastic one come from - and how many blades does it have ? Normal Minor engine is fine with just the standard single bade (ie two arms) metal fan.

Six blades ,when I pull the radiator the noise stops...The fan was already on...

It may be a Marina fan - but really not necessary. Just fit the single blade metal fan !
