Side Window Thickness

Can anyone tell me how thick the side windows are on the Minor? I need to order some Perspex for the side windows in my race car but according to the regulations it must be the same thickness as the standard glass. A measurement from a wound down door glass would probably be exactly what I need.
If anyone could help, it would be of much use. Cheers.

The average of my side window glass and quarter light glass gives 4.9mm

I'm sure when I fitted them (25+ years ago) they were 6mm - slightly thicker than standard.

Cheers Guys. I've just spoken to a frined of mine near work and he has enough spare 6mm from something else he was doing for my windows so I'll try that and go from there.

RAC used to insist on at least 6mm plastic - maybe different now ?

Rules simply state it has to be same as standard. I have seen cars with thinner, and noone seems to check but preparing cars for a living has taught me to stick to the regs if nothing else!

Well if that is to be taken literally then 6mm won't do.....

Surely the originals wouldn't be measured in millimetres anyway? if you want it exact..
