Mounting MM Hubcaps to Ford Rims

Post by BigDawgV8 »

hi All,

I've just picked up a set of Ford steel wheels for the Pick-up and and I'm now looking to fit the standard hub-caps to them.
Has anyone done this before and if so what have you used as the fixing?

Any help as usual much appreciated!

Cheers

Martin :D

Best thing to do is use studs of some sorts, as per the Series MM and Series II wheels.

Can't say I have done this myself, but I have seen it done with great success.

Another option is to use the spring clips from an old VW. They rivit to the wheel, and are available new from most air-cooled VW specialists.
