Welcome to the forum and to the world of morris minors. First car eh?What a sensible person you are. I havent got a radio in mine as i am happy with the sound from under the bonnet, and the gearbox, and the rear axle, and the suspension
It would be nice if we knew where you are in the world, there is probably an owner or a club quite close that would love to hear from you.
Looking at the last line of your post i guess you are putting on some pictures ( a great idea ). The format should look something like this.

but with another [ bracket at the front.
Good luck with the morris driving

If you get februarys issue of practical classics there is an article on a bloke who modifies old radios to work like new ones and even take an MP3 player. His number is 01619 730438 (The vintage wireless co) also there is one on ebay but its quite a price but if you want the original look.......

then you have to pay

What about something like this if you want a period looking radio that has been 'updated':

Personally I've got a period radiomobile radio fitted and the sound quality is fine. I'm not bothered about having a modern one - I prefer to keep my car looking original.

Hi,
Basically it's your choice but:-
ALL modern radios are Negative Earth.
Morris Minors were all Positive Earth.
If you fit a negative earth radio to a Morris Minor (positive earth) you will wreck the radio. (completely).
Make sure that either the car is converted (see the main website) - or that the radio is positive earth.
Personally I use a modern Sony (CD/DAB) unit - hidden under the passenger parcel shelf and operated by a remote...
Speakers in the side panels (front), and a layer of John Lewis' best underay under the carpets (sound deadening).
HTH,
Colin
Edited for spelling....
