Good to hear that someone got a result first time. How / where did you mount the reel?

I have often thought about seatbelts - I always reach for it when getting in!
Is the sill fixing a 'nutsert' type of fitting? and is there a fixing on the door frame ('B' post?)
Were they dear?

my car is 1969 so had the inner step fixing, a nut welded to the inside, and the fixings on the inner rail under the windows
the setbelt was £29.99 each , but as i say it fitted perfectly no problems at all

I tried inertia belts on a 2 door and found that they were a struggle to extend the webbing when fastening them and they did not pass the "snatch test" every time so I was not confident about their ability to lock up when required which is why I have stuck with static belts in the MM. The problems may have been with that partiicular installation.

So far I'm still left with the static ones, although they do worry me ... I only ever use them as a lap belt since with the way that they hang over me I feel like if I were in an accident that they would break my neck/collarbone before they did anything useful
