NOS van doors

Found these in my garage have been standing there a while! these are NOS items what remains of the smal sticker uptop says "BMC sheet.... "

but what are those extra holes in the door? GPO?

just ou of curiosity, I'm not planning to sell but what price what these go for?

could be for the locking bar on a royal mail van, but would be on thr drivers side door

nos doors would be about £80.00 each

that's y I was wondering y on the passenger's side? and why GPO door to Malta? :S probably a mystrey never to be solved but thanks for your reply Den :)

Hasp and paddlock guys used on engineers van, small windowed rear doors are not cheap Frank, I am guessing but £100 is not unreasonable especially as its from an enginers van

I would have guessed they are more expensive, but I've never tried to buy any.
I got a pair for my Marina suntor camper, and did a deal + collected as quick as possible as they are just so hard to find. The seller mentioned that he'd had a lot of frustrated potential purchasers on the phone - I told him that was why I'd been so darn quick about it. He'd found them when clearing a shed with a house clearance so it was his lucky day.

The surface rust and extra holes on these ones will detract from their value, but as you're not selling it's not a problem ;-)

was thinking more anout the other hole by the hanging side
todays eco climate i would say £80.00 is about right

Thanks for the replies never saw a van with the mentioned hasp and paddlock if I remember well, have to browse through your books Russ! :)
