mentioning no names.
Is it possible moderators to ban people and remove them from here if they show a particularly bad attitude?
If so I think a number of us would probably agree with getting rid of a certain person.
I have not passed comment on his threads because I consider it bad form to be negative on someones threads, so bit my tongue. But do we really need that type on here?

I suspect the person in question may have gone now, judging by the last thing they said (whether it's true or not).

If anyone is unhappy with another's postings, please notify any of the Moderators. The normal process is then for the Moderator to contact the person concerned and try to reach an ammicable resolution. However if this fails, then yes the poster can be banned.

For what it's worth S/fool I have never found your threads even slightly nasty. Anybody who takes offence to you has issues.

I think I know who you are talking about ... I really hope they didnt scrap that car, it would be an absolute crime ... worse than that the ghosts of all the owners would make his life hell (see my other comment in the thread about chopping up a minor) .. hey ho.
For what it's worth, I would have spent out the £100+ to travel up there, bought it off him for £150+whatever he has spent on it (maybe £100), and given it a loving home ... hey ho, if he'd rather rip people off or cut of his nose to spite his face then that's his business.

he did have a bad attitude, but at the end of the day it is his choice as to what he wants for his car, if it is the right price then that does not matter, it was his to sell or scrap or do what he likes with it

grandad ... its the kid up in scotland who bought his minor for £150 then wanted to sell it for £1400 two months later ... as many people say, its his choice of price, but he took offence to me pointing out that it seems like blatant profiteering.
Or then maybe it's me that has the bad attitude?
I really think that enough has been posted about this, and so I am now locking the thread.
