The first time I saw a Low Light Series MM was in a film called "Skull Duggery" it was on the telly about early 70's I suppose. A Tourer. it was filmed in New Guinea and starred Michael Caine,
CORRECTION : Burt Reynolds - not one of his best Roles I recall!
(I have been thinking it was Michael Caine for the past 25 odd years!)
The Morrie came out to meet a plane on a bush airfield.
I think it was at that point I was hooked!
How ever it was about 10 years later I actually saw one in real life!
See this link for the Skull Duggery movie details:

Theres another one in the Day the earth caught fire as well, which has somekind of 'prop' water condenser fitted to the roof with a pipe going into the bonnet. but I cant find a still of it at the moment.

John Ford used to hire out his lowlight, LGP 982 for film work and I once saw it in a film being swerved across the road, bouncing off the banks. It was painful to watch a car that I knew being driven like that.
