Use of Mozilla Firefox' latest edition

Hello all,

I have recently upgraded my Firefox to version 3.0 ( I think)

Ever since the upgrade the message board ( but only this one!) is not working 100%

I normally like reading all new posts, topic by topic.

Problem is that none of the posts are being marked as read (still showing orange s unread even if I have just read it)
Weird thing is that this is not always the case, some posts get marked as read without any trouble.

If I log off and then log on again all posts are marked read (unless there are brand new ones)

Any idea? Jon didn't have much luck... :(

I just use Opera - it works well and very convenient.

Sometimes have the same problem too Onne. Thought it was just a glitch in the site

The issue I believe is if the site is a windows one, other browsers need to be aligned if updated.

Try searching the mozilla site for issues with PNphpBB2 1.1 boards or PNphpBB2 1.1 forums there may be an add on you simply need to download. :)

Tried it in Firefox - latest version - and it's fine for me.

That's normal for this messageboard. I've looked into changing it, but it will take a fair bit of work

I don't mind that bit, that was just to clarify...

I stated I only tend to log on when I have an hour or so to read all new posts.

Yes, that is a problem until Jon can get the mods loaded into our board... Every time you are logged out the posts automatically get marked as read so unless you read everything in one session you might miss something. As the "Master" says though, he is looking into it :-)

Still doesn't answer my original problem though.

I read all posts, but it is very unhelpful if these are not marked as read after reading them.

It does the same to me Onne, but it would appear that's it's a "glitch" in the old site that will take a lot of programming to rectify. :(

I tried firefox this morning - loads of problems so I quickly opened IE to have it all working properly.

What problems?
I use Firefox all the time and rarely have any problems.

I am still suffering from the same problems, and it annoys me... I use more than 1 Phpbb message board, and this is the only one I have trouble with, which for me would suggest the error is not on my side..

Please advice

Like Onne, I log in then click view posts since last visit. Read the threads that look interesting then logout.
Works well for me.

I always try to read all new posts :)

I think Jon has resolved the issue now though...
