Has anybody fitted doorskins, are they a good fit /shape, I am a panelbeater sprayer by profession so skinning a door will be no problem, its just that the time fitting a lower section then filling will probably take as long as a complete skin and while the skin is off the interior of the door could have any rust attended to and rust prevention could be done<br>

I've locally welded repairs into much worse state doors than those! If you are a pro then it should be a piece of cake - I'm just an enthusiastic ameteur....

its not whether a piece of cake or not just if the skin is a good fit and does not need a lot of adjustment to get a good fit, it will be a quicker job and will not need filler or better still lead loading. So still need to hear from someone who has fitted them and are they a good fit as pattern panels can be hit and miss on quality and fit

Would be interesting to know how well a complete door skin fits. I went for the bottom skin part replacement on mine and thankfully have a panel beater friend who helped and advised - took a while to do but a nice end result.
