that anybody owning say, a Minor LCV (which was in production in this country until Feb '72 and a while after that in NZ) dating from after the production date of the last car is excluded? Image from the front page of this site, btw<br>

Yep - quite clearly gives the acceptable dates from 27th June 1948 to 28th June 1971. Anything before or after is obviously excluded !

I hope copyright permission was sought to use the image, albeit altered

Taking it literally - a high proportion of Minors will be ineligable as quite a few have been (re) built since 1971

Hmm - didn't realise 'picky' had been on this thread ?
And it suggests only Travellers will be welcome ? Which suits me of course, but may upset some others.

Yup again - odd that they chose the most fashionable and IMO least desirable model for the pic ;)

How anyone possibly infer that from "All models"?
I'd guess that the Traveller is on the cover as it is so much more versatile and family friendly than an LCV. "Ducks and hides in trench to avoid missiles"
I think that it's a really great advert. Well done Jon.

I think it looks good my only worry is copyright as it seems lately there's a lot of companies looking around for this kind of stuff :S

On the National Rally Page of this website! The 2009 National Rally will be held at the Haynes Museum, Sparkford, Somerset - hence the use of the Haynes cover

The MM mag is due out at the end of the week.

Eh? How's that, then?

Fair enough this time, though
