Does anyone know what readily available colour is the closest to the yellow of the fanblade for a late 1098 Minor?

I used a yellow spray from a hardware shop. One brand (Can't remember which, sorry.

) confined it's range to single primary colours.

I've always used the Humbrol enamel that used to be available in most hardware stores. Unfortunately it's now available only from model shops (as in Airfix, Hornby, etc) and in only small tins. However, one small tin is enough to do a fan blade. I've also always done red blades with yellow tips; it's a good choice.

well the tine of warning yellow I use you wouldn't wan clean your teeth with either
The Plasticoats Enamel yellow looks quite good on a fan and it is available from most DIY stores, either as a jar or spray can.
I agree with the humbrol paints, the larger tins were really handy, unfortunately airfix do not manufacture the larger tins any more.
