My inspiration!

This is the car that many years ago I fell in love with. It was built by a local man (from southend) called Richie King who also built the Purple people eater Minor pick up and many other kustoms before turning his attentions to VW's and becoming a big name in that scene over the years.
I saw it when I was about 11 at a car show in southend and it was love at first sight. At the time it was completely different to anything else on the custom scene.
This is the only pic i've got from Ray Newells book, I've asked Richie and he hasn't got any more and I spoke to the owner after him and he doesn't have any.
Has anyone on here got any pics of this car. I'd like to start planning a replica or more like a tribute i guess as it did change my life!
