I am 17 years old, and have just purchased a 1968 Morris Minor Convertible. :D I don't know if anyone can help, but I have been hunting around for reasonably priced insurance quotes. I wondered if anyone had any recomendations for any good insurance companies I could go with, to insure my morris for a cheap price! I have already recieved some quotes for insurance deals, but would prefer to go with a Classic Car insurance company. But due to me only being 17, are there any Classic Car companies which would offer me insurance at such a young age?? If anyone has any advice or help they could give me, it would be very much appreciated. Thankyou! :)
(If I have posted this to the wrong place on the site, could someone put it in the correct area as this is my first post.)

Yes there are classic car insurers who will insure yound drivers.

When I was 18 I got insurance through Footman James - but as a named driver.

Best thing you can do is get a classic car mag and ring all the insurers in at and ask!

You may have to go with CIS - as a named driver.

Contact the main club as they have a young drivers scheme.

Join the Morris Minor Owners Club and then you can use the club insurance scheme.
