And on the U, looking at the DVLA vehicle make drop down list -

Umm
Universal
Ural
Ursus
Uvm

No idea what they are though - might even be some sort of mowing machine!

A Ural is a Russian motorbike. A mate of mine just got a new one with a sidecar.

Call yourselves Morris fans - you should have heard of the Nuffield Universal Tractor :D

Umm
I did once try the Car alphabet based on cars I'd owned or driven but there were too many where i'd only got as far as being a passenger.
(for U and Q I've been in an UMM 4x4 and an Audi Quatro)

My sister had a worse silly game a few years back, and unfortunately she started me on it - so I had to do the whole darn thing too.........
The idea is to count from 1 to 999 using the digits from British car number plates - you can do it any time, in the car, on foot, from trains - whatever but you have to do them in order, so it's no good seeing one you almost need and pretending you've bagged it when you catch up! Strangely addictive and SUCH a relief when you've finally finished! Up to you whether you start :D

I recall a VW based kit car in the seventies called the Quazar.
