I know of concours cars being restored to extremely high standards without the benefit of any garage.

Go and have a look! You will wish you had if you don't!

Looks like most of the welding has been done which is a bonus. The other major cost will be painting - unless you plan to do this yourself.

Nice project though and when you are not working on it, you could stick it under a cover and get Mea back inside.

I'd have it but I've run out of room/garage Go on give it a home. You'd have a head start on me as I've got to chop the top off mine yet!

Why didn't I build a double length carport!

Don't want to spoil the fun, but if I had nowhere to do a lengthy project, I'd leave it. Just imagine for one moment the reality.

I have thought and agonised over the project and came to the same conclusion as you. I went to my fellow owners looking for support in my decision and what do i get, a baying crowd encouraging me to jump into the mire.
But seriously, thank you all for your encouragement but i think i will put the horse before the cart and look for a usable garage first.
