Hi all,

Kevin (of the forum) kindly supplied me with some pictures he had of a rear shocker conversion which I really like the look of.

Pics attached - can anyone tell me the make and model of shocker? I could figure out how to make the plates to attach to, but would like the best shock absorber for the job.

Here's hopin'!

Cheers

I have this type of kit but the fitting is slightly different. The lug at the top of the Munroe branded damper is broader so the spacer is correspondingly narrower. There are clearly different kits out there.

yes mine is like this but again, slightly different. i have spax adjustables on mine, the bushes used in the damper eyes are clutch relay ones as they are as close to exactly the same as you could get! unbelievably!

The colour would suggest Koni dampers. I really don't like the look of that top mounting - it has far too much leverage on the pin with that thick spacer holding it away from the chassis member! There really is nothing wrong with the lever dampers -and they have the merit of being adjustable.
