All I can find is what you already know that its Red however its the same for all colours using red pinstripes, eg Snowberry White, Black, Rose Taupe, Old English White, Dove Grey so do the colour chips you have Dennis quote a Red at all.

My car is black so it has also a red pinstripe and I posed myself that very same question! Here 's what I've done:
I found a can of spray paint on a local shop that was on a catalog of car paint under BMC colours and was called "pinstripe red"! It's not to bright nor to dark. It just seams "nice".
I have it no longer with me (I gave it to the painter!) but I could ask him and tell you later the brand and colour code, if you want!
Regards,
Pedro

I finally arranged time to check the colour I sugested.
The brand is MOTIP (dutch, I believe) and the code is 855 for the colour "Red-Coachline" or 854 "Maroon-Coachline". I chose red because maroon seamed to dark. They are listed under "Jaguar".
Maybe this can help!
Sorry for taking so long...
Regards,
Pedro
