Heater renovation

Hi folks

I'm planning on renovating the heater shortly.
The actual mechanics work properly, the only real problem is that the seals are all shot. Screen or Car setting gives a blast of air from the front of the heater control box.
Does anyone have any recommendation as to what to use for a seal?

Thanks

Stick-on draught seal strip should work. The type where you peel off a paper backing.

D'you reckon that would stand up to the hot environment Roy?

I used 'Armourflex' pipe insulation, you can cut the correct thickness and size from it. I think it is basically dense foam.

Think so Dom! It's not THAT hot.

I'll give it a try - I need to get some draught seal anyway for the workshop door... varnishing a violin with an icy draught blowing dust onto it isn't a good way of working!
