MGF wheels ?

I have heard mention the use of MGF wheels, but not yet seen any in use or on a minor.
Can the MGF wheels be safely used on 3.75 pcd.
MGF are 95.25mm pcd, offset 30-35mm, and centre bore is 56.6mm.
Does it have to be the 15inch MGF wheels or can 16inch be used?
Is the offset on the MGF wheels ok for safe useage?
Are any body mods required?
What other standard wide wheels (steel or alloy) useable on 3.75pcd.
thankyou
Jon

Callyspoy has them on his minor. Look for a post by him and you will see them in his signature picture

Interesting and I will be able to check as I have an MGF with 16" wheels. I will put one onto the Minor and see how it fits.

i've got 16" on the rear, i didn't need spacers or anything! which is handy as they hang out of the arches as it is! you will need wider wings i would think if you wanted to do it properly (that's what i'm planning) and someone just up there sells them for a very reasonable price! i personally quite liek them, lots won't, but hey that's minor ownership for you!

these are my wheels. yes, very tractor like at the moment, the only reason i can run it like this is because i have the early arches me thinks! but wider wings soon...

the rears are 16", fronts are 15", same style wheel though so you don't really notice except the size of the tyre!

MGF wheels are exactly 3.75" pcd - any metric size quoted is an approximation! They don't of course fit a Minor unless it has been converted to Marina/Triumph rear axle and front hubs.

i had a pair of those on the front before! took them off as they looked odd with the others on the rear!

Is it correct that the MGF 15" wheels will fit the front of the Minor with a Marina hub and doesn't contact the suspension upright WITHOUT spacers?
I am running Marina rear axle and front discs with, at present, 13" Marina wheels.

The 15"x6" rims fit all 4 corners. The 16"x7" fit the rear but not the front(unless you space the wheel off the hub and flare the wing)
That is if you have marina hubs all round.

They don't look too bad.
I was hoping to keep the standard wheels, but would need to convert the hubs etc when using marina bits.
Do you use the standard marina wheels nuts?
If they are any more pictures or info, i'd like to know
Thankuou all

i have used the wheel studs from a Montego (bigger diameter)along with chrome wheel nuts from a 600 series Rover.

What tyres have you got on your MGF 16" wheels?
Standard fit for an MGF on 16's is 215 x 40, this tyre size - or something in between may give a better clearance.
