marina drums

hi folks, i don't need any anytime soon, but always nice to have spares. sooo...does anyone know whether front marina drums fit marina rears/ the ads on ebay are all front, so i'm assuming they won't fit. if that's the case, does anyone know where you can buy them from?

I think the Marina rears are 8" as I was looking at fitting some to the rear of my Moggie but not sure if the fronts are 8 or 9" ??

Anyways, I'm still saving for the radius arm kit so can't spend money on disc's

Just fit Traveller 7 leaf springs - pretty much sorts out any axle tramp and stiffens the rear up nicely.

Nah ! leave the springs alone, you will get much better traction with them and I feel the trav springs upset the balance on a std set up. Radius arms are the way to go, not just because I sell them, honest!

Hi Mate,

I think the front and rears are different and the rears are like hens teeth but they are the same as fitted to some TR7's - so I'm told. I did track down a new set through Max's Factors but there were very pricey - 01553 841252 is their number.

Early TR7s certainly had 8" rear drums - and the PCD would be correct. They should be common enough - most TR7 owners upgrade to the later 9" rear drum axle - mainly because it is stronger!
