Sitting here in a caravan in the middle of an old airfield in Suffolk. No-one else within a mile!! Blooming cold though, and ten year old daughter is grumpy, but I'm used to it!!

Mine too, but only 6 year old and because I sent her to bed at 7.30 "when there might be more trick or treaters coming" !!!!!!

Its the ones who come after 7.30 that usually cause the grief on our estate. I remember switching all the front lights off and retiring quietly to rear rooms to avoid them in the past!!

The ultimate answer to "trick or treat?" is........ treat please.
I love the kids coming round, the ones we get are generally well behaved and with parents overing at a discreet distance. You would be suprised at how many of the kids, when given the confusing answer "treat please..." actually offer me some of the booty. :D

Yep, the ones around here are okay too - I've had mini-Death at the door tonight, along with a three-foot--tall witch, a couple of fairies, a very young Catwoman, and a bunch of hoodies with cheap latex masks - they were all polite, and all the small ones had parents with them, so they all got sweets.:)

I think the light-and-bright kids party at church was a better option than a sub zero caravan, but maybe I'm just getting too old to be cold...
We also do an alternative tick or treat in Leamington - people going out to "treat-or-treat" knocking doors and giving out boxes of chocolates.
