They are very easy to change - just need normal hand tools and a jack and a ball-joint splitter for the track rod end. Main problem you will discover is that there are no spares available at the moment - so you will need to find good used ones to fit - and most folks are carefully guarding any that they have ! You may get away with fitting new lower trunnions to your existing kingpins - that's where they wear most, and new trunnions will take up 'half' the wear you have and may keep you going until new kingpins come back on the market.

Have you got the new kingpins to put on? They've been very scarce for a while now, and I'd hate to think of you taking the old ones off and then not having any to put back on.....

If you have got new ones, then please share the secret of where to get them!

So - do you have new kingpins - or are you going to just fit new trunnions ?
