Removing windows

Hi, i am looking for some advice on removing windows from a 2 dr 1000 prior to respray, and then putting them back. Is it easy or should i grt a auto glass tyoe person?

Easy enough - although rear window can be tricky to refit. Best to use new rubbers when you refit - old hard rubbers make the job much more difficult - and they can leak!

Yes, I agree, fairly easy job IF you refit with new rubbers and use plenty of lube when refitting. I like to use grease in the rubbers but others have different ideas.....

If you go for new rubbers it makes the removal of the glass much easier as you can just cut the old rubber with a stanley knife

Mind the fingers when doing the 'cutting out'! Thick work gloves highly recommended.
