What am I gonna do?
I was planning to respray Sidney at some point, I've flatted down the paintwork on all of the front panels but havent painted anything yet. We didn't have much summer weather in summer (If we did I must have blinked and missed it!) and now we're in October and it's starting to get even colder!
I have three options now, I can still try and paint him now in the cold, I can leave him in pieces till next summer or I can just put him together again so he's useable but with flatted paintwork and suspend the restoration for yet another year.
What do you think I should do?

Same prob with my MGB. Fortunately doing it piecemeal- wings, doors, bonnet & boot off. Just grabbing any bright afternoon that comes before the air gets too damp!

Thats how I painted mine, bit by bit, when the weather was right took about a year and a half! Good job I didn't need to use it during that time, I had bits of Morris hanging everywhere!

I would just love to come out there at the moment it's nearly 4 years since we were there. Had hoped to return next spring but that's looking doubtful now. :(

I appologise to everyone about the rain... It's raining continuously because I've taken the woodwork off my traveller with a view to replacement, and garage commitments mean this job's largely got to be done on the drive. We've had a monsoon every time I've done that job over the years!

Sorry!

Good luck with your wood project! It's sunny here but quite cold in the wind. Are you replacing the lot or just parts?
