Does anyone know if axles from an Elva Courier are any stronger than the standard Minor axles (and if they fit the Minor housing)? Thanks!

For anyone (the vast majority of us, I suspect) who's never heard of them - http://www.elvacourier.com/

So - from that it has the Riley 1.5 axle - same as the Minor but with the very desirable 3.7 diff for cruising, if not for acceleration! Fitting the 4.22 or 4.55 diff will improve acceleration - but more revs and noise at speed, and more chance of breaking a half shaft - see other thread!

Do you mean the differential rather than the whole axle.

There is a set of Elva axles on eBay over here in the 'States. Just wondered if anyone knew about them, as the seller lists them as fitting a Moggie too, but nothing else about them, including strength.
