Noticed this convertible on Car and Classic, does anyone know anythink about this car, still looking to source a good convertible so any advice price, condition would be most appreciated

Looks good, but not a word about the actual metalwork, worth asking vendor if work has been done on sills etc and, if yes, are there bills to prove it.

For that much money you would expect it all to be like new... metalwork included !!!!

Couldn't agree more. It's crucial it's solid as a rock. In terms of replacement, a convertible would represent more outlay than a saloon and far outweighs the cost of the listed work.

Thanks for all your comments, I requested some more photo's off the seller when then arrived the engine bay was plastered in waxoil and the underneath did not fill me with confidence with a fair bit of rust visable and as you say for that price should be a lot better, so it's back to the drawing board looking for a convertible, is their any other sites worth sourcing a moggie contvertible other than ebay, carandclassic and classic cars for sale, thanks again for your assistance ~ Stephen.

This forum, obviously - maybe Pistonheads. Convertibles are always going to cost a lot more than saloons - and slightly less than Travellers. If you want an open top car - I can thoroughly recommend a Triumph TR7 !!!!!!!!! Very much less expensive than Minor Convertibles - and much faster!

TR7's are great but you have to leave the kids at home

Depends if the level of grief you get when back home outweighs the joy you had before coming home.......
