Slightly rusty gutter!!

Wish I'd never investigated that bubbling paintwork above the gutter!!<br>

A quick bit of fabrication work:<br>

And time to get the stick welder warmed up! (dig dig).<br>

very nice work mate!! had the same problem with my saloon except the roof guttering and windscreen surrounds were made of newspapers and filler! so got a donor vehicle removed all spotwelds from roof panel and replaced the whole roof panel!!

Getting the gutter curve to follow the door profile was the worst bit, closely followed by matching the profile of the roof repair section. No wonder they advise you to walk away from a minor with rusty gutters!!
Just a smidgen of filler needed now!

How did you roll the gutter over LA ? Any chance you could produce a 'how to' on this job ?

Mr Ecosse, I'd be only too glad to, having mucked it up a couple of times before getting the right procedure. But whereabouts would a "how to" go in the forum structure?

A 'mod' would put it in a 'sticky' at the top of the section. If you write it up and ask them nicely - i'm sure they would oblige !

A good dollop of "open air" celly via the trusty Earlex HVLP spray unit (very little overspray)- Et Voila:<br>
