diff

as i have been told the diff from morris to A35 will go would it throw gearing out much as A35 is on 13 inch wheels and probably a different gearbox,,thanks,,grandad

It depends what diff ratio the diff is.

Sprite and midget diffs also fit, they have 13" wheels and use the same ratio diffs as the minor (ie. a 948 has 4.55, a 1098 4.22, and then 1275 which have 3.9 and 1500 which have 3.9 and 3.7 depending on the year).

I would guess that A35s are the same, choose one with the same size engine and it will probably have the same diff

They have the same gearbox - Austins were always that little bit lower geared because of the smaller wheels.

when my brother inlaw changed from a 4.55 to 4.22 diff in his A35 to correct the speedo I think he used one from an A40
