Who is going to the Birthday Party at Gaydon?

Post by RogerRust »

I'll try and get there.

Saturday 20th September.

Too late to book now but you can pay on the day.

Thinking about it... I haven't pre-booked but I assume it's OK to just turn up.

We'll be there - might be inside in the room allocated to us for the celebrations if the weather is iffy - but taking the gazebo as well :D Do come and say Hi!

I'm going.

Would anyone like to convoy?

I wonder if they have reached the 60 car aim yet?

I'm probably not going to this event as I'd hoped to combine the trip with something else in the Midlands that has turned out to be fully booked. :-?

I will hopefully be at the Mini plant tour and AGM though.

Can anyone tell me if the £10 per car and £2.50 per additional passenger rate applies if you just turn up?
Or is it the full admission price?

It might be a good idea if you could post the response Leo to help those that have not booked but might be considering going.

I remember the application saying full price on the day. They also couldn't guarantee a commemorated plaque.

Rosie has kindly replied to my e-mail.
If your car details and membership number are sent to her before Thursday you will get in at the discounted rate and the money will be collected when you arrive at the Museum

Thank you for posting the clarification Leo, I am sure it will help those that are considering going.

I hope you all enjoy yourselves. Unfortunately I shall not be attending,

Wondered what route you are taking? Might be able to join in somewhere along the way? M40?
