Keep an eye on ebay for any cars that come up for sale. It might have had its id changed but you may well notice any distinguishing marks or fittings that yours had....

It's just because they are so easy to steal - hidden petrol pump switch makes them very much safer - but won't stop determined thief with trailer/box van etc.

indeed the locks are normally so warn they are no use what so ever, even new they were pretty poor. It can take almost no tools at all to steal one.

all owners really must look at extra security.
- pump stop switches
- battery interrupt switch
- ignition interrupt devices
- physical and visible deterrents such as a crook lock
- alarms

none of those will stop the determined thief but if it makes you car harder to take then you hope they pass on by.

I do hope you find your car
