more advice required please,

the 3 lots of rubbers on the rear leaf springs on my Series 2 are pretty much perished.

are these available, and can I replace them in situ, one at a time using 'G' clamps or similar.?

would it be better to replace the 3 no. complete clip assembly if available on both rear leaf springs? again one at a time using clamps etc.

The 'rubbers' are very certainly available - try BullMotif. Most prefer now to fit polyurethane bushes which are harder and last very much longer. The front bushes can be difficult to change - be prepared to have to butcher the old centre pins and fit new ones. Look also at the bushes in the damper link arm to the cahssis and change them too. And while under - look to see if the bump stops are present on top of the axle at each side. These are essential to stop dangerous bottoming of the spring shackles which will soon damage the chassis. I don't think new clamps are available - you would have to make your own. If the spring leaves have worn noticeably into each other you may be as well to consider fitting a new pair of springs.

for that very useful information, I can now inspect both rear springs as you said and decide what to do next. new springs are most likely and I'll talk to Bullmotif.

you also reminded me that I bought a full set of superflex poly bushes earlier this year (from JLH) and have yet to fit any of them (caravan holidays are the cause of that). this will be a good place to start.

I would recommend these kits if it's affordable alcro, especially the second one......you get the lot!
