Post deleted as we suspect it may be an advert rather than a recommendation. From the terms and conditions you accepted -

You agree not to post any commercial, advertising or business information, other than in the For Sale/Wanted section, where you agree that you are not a trader or business and are not acting for or on behalf of any member of the trade or business.

If this is not the case, please shout - I have a copy of the post.

but the fact they only do them for a traveller isn't quite so wicked. Mind i don't suppose there's much difference.

Have given them a ring and they said they can do mats for any car on the planet. If they havent got a pattern you can send in your own pattern and they will make a set to your spec. Cant argue with that! ! !
Are they the same as the saloon tho? ? ?
Here is a direct link to the mats.

Hmmm :-? When someone joins the site and their first posting is an advertisement it always looks to me as though they are a trader who has just signed up in order to advertise their goods and get round the T&C's. I could of course be wrong though so stand to be corrected. Perhaps I'm being unduly suspicious.

Autocruiser - How about posting a photo of your traveller with the mats fitted so we can see what a wicked fit they are? The pictures of the mats on the site probably don't really do them justice.

Hi Louise, there was also a notice put in the for sale section which I deleted and pm'd the poster, if anyone can confirm its a trader I will delete the posting, unless of course they can supply a photo of their car.

Too late, Kevin got there first :D Were you making another cup of coffee?

No doubt Autocruiser will be in touch after Kevin's pm. He is probably out taking some photos of his traveller.

Result of WHOIS query:
Domain name:
matscar.co.uk

Registrant:
Chris Hackett

Registrant type:
UK Individual

Registrant's address:
The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their
address omitted from the WHOIS service.

Seems suspect to me.

Agreed but he hasn't reponded to my PM and it is a tad suspect for a first posting.

Please suggest an alternative as we (we being the membership of the MMOC) are always open to suggestions.

Have a section where traders can advertise their Minor related goods.

There already is in Minor Matters, this is a non commercial site.
Unless you can persuade the MMOC committee otherwise.

I've removed it anyway - seemed a bit daft to leave it up if it was just an ad.

There is another site that does not have such restrictions, particularly if it helps Morris Minor enthusiasts

Well I agree with Millerman, the MMOC is missing out by refusing trade pages on this site/forum. There is a way in which this can be done, so that the members do not feel bombarded by ads, just as it is in M. Matters.
This 'is' a commercial site, but one which does not allow commercials :D

well i really can not see why adverts like this should be banned

afterall it does help other minor owners so agree with jonathon and millerman

some t & c`s need to be altered

the internet is the way clubs are going
we must keep up or fall behind

:D :D
