Ford brakes. PCD question

Trying to fathom this out....

....Ford PCD is, I assume, still 4.5 inch. If so, can the Ford conversion be fitted to an early car and still take the MM/Lowlight wheels? Are there any reasons why new uprights couldn't be used to put the Ford disc conversion onto an early car with early wheel rims?

Isn't Ford PCD 108mm? Didn't the 5.5 inch PCD Mogs use bolts as opposed to the Ford studs?

Early Morry wheels (held with bolts) are surely 4.5" PCD ? Only early Ford will be 4.5" PCD - 'modern' Fords will be metric - very probably the 108 mm mentioned above.

Isn't that the point that was being made? 108mm is 4 1/4 inches, btw

But you said 5.5" Andrew. Otherwise - yes.

Not as far as I've ever seen. Even mk1 escorts and the like use 108mm.
Maybe 'proper' old stuff was 4.5" I dont know? Fairly certain even Anglias were 108/4.25 though..
