Morris Minor Owners Club

Does anyone have the figure for the torsion bar spring rate ?
I'm also trying to find some way of calculating the increase in the torsion bar rate if it is shortened by 4" [ anyone got the maths for this ? ]
I am rebuilding a 1956 Buckler which is based on morris minor mechanicals

Answered in the other thread - but if you want a higher spring rate probably easiest to just add on telescopic coil spring dampers.
