We have a 58 original convertible with red leather hood. Can anyone advise what product can be used to treat the leather and make the hood waterproof?

Leather Hood ?????
Leather is waterproof - otherwise Cows would get wet on the inside !!!
It's probably vynide or similar. Any outdoor store such as Millets etc will sel waterproofing spray for walking boots - That should do the trick.....

It should be waterproof if any kind of plastic material. Or is it a 'cloth' type material ? In which case - as above. Some hoods leak at the seams - best result I had was to rub boot polish into the seams from both sides.
