Rear reflectors and the law?

My Moggie is the same spec and colour as this corker in the link. I have some very old rear reflectors which have passed away (they are bolted in just above the rear lights), but noticed this car in the pic doesn't appear to have any. Do the replacement rear light lenses for this type of rear light have them incorporated? Therefore, negating the need for a separate one or even due to the year of manufacture is it not a legal requirement?

Confused... any ideas?

The rear reflector is in the badge on the bootlid. Only one is required for this year of vehicle. If you don't have the badge reflector you will need to add, maybe Traveller ones, or something similar.

It became law in 1954 for vehicles to be fitted with a pair of rear reflectors and there were all sorts of add ons until the new lamp with the reflector was added later in 1954.

I dont know if you have to have 2 fitted to pass an MOT, not many testers would notice! But I think from a safety point of view that they should be, the boot motif reflector is so small you wouldnt notice it.

Heres a pic from this years national rally of my lowlight beside the NWL 576 and as you see even it has them fitted.
Image
