Ok, I thought I'd post a few piccies of my Twincam Minor.

Spec includes:
Fiat 2 litre 131 block with fully ported 16 valve cylinder head, Colombo & Bariani cams,
Lightened crank, steel rods, forged pistons (7.2:1), dry sumped,
T34 roller bearing turbo which is currently restricting the engine (to around 450 BHP). Will currently only run 1.3 bar boost max, the engine was built for 2 bar, which I think should be around 600BHP! Basically the engine turned out much better than I anticipated! Also now running a bigger bore down pipe since the photos were taken, was severly restricting the top end power, now 3" pipe fitted (2.5" in photos).
Fiat 131 5 speed gearbox, Escort english axle with Quaife diff & halfshafts (and yes it does seem to take it!!)
Used for road, hillclimbs and sprints, can be surprisingly docile on the road and economical if driven gently but bloody quick when the throttle is floored.

Michael,
Yes, I can post some more detail on the engine, might go on a bit though.
Forged pistons are CP sourced through Guy Croft, very light pistons excellent quality, fitted with Total Seal rings.
Conrods are Arrow items, suitable for Integrale (the pistons and rod saved 1.5 kg from the internals over standard items). As there were no oil feed holes in the rods, I fitted piston cooling jets in the block and due to their flow requirements meant I had to dry sump the engine as the standard oil pump could not flow enough oil to maintain adequate pressure. With the cornering G it really needed dry sumping anyway but just meant I had to squeeze more in the engine bay.
The crank I lightened many years ago, by just over 1 kg. If I did it now, I would take even more off. Flywheel is a very light steel item with an Integrale paddle clutch.
I ported the cylinder head, recut the seats with 3 angles, ground the standard size valves with a 30 degree back cut etc, all the usual stuff. I flow tested the head after porting and found it to be better than I had expected.
I made the inlet manifold and had the head machined for 'O' rings to get rid of the inlet manifold gasket which had been a weak point. The throttle bodies are 45mm Jenveys which are just about the right size for the port configuration. The manifold was made to be a 'straight shot' into the port and took a few attempts to get the right clearances etc.
Cams are 276 degree, 10.9mm lift inlet, 242 degree (can't remember the lift but less than the inlet lift) with triple valve springs.
Head gasket is a Spesso Integrale item with ARP stubs/nuts instead of the bolts.
Intercooler is a Mitsibushi Evo 6 one, modified slightly to bolt into the mog, the water radiator was specially made. I had had some cooling issues with the previous engine and wanted to make sure this one was up to the job, it is probably too big but cooling is no longer an issue.
Did a mod to the head, normally the water outlet comes out the back of the head, didn't have room so took the water core plug out of the front of the head and made up the outlet 'T', which goes onto the normal external Fiat thermostat. I have heard bad things about these thermostats but have been using this one for 18 years ok! (I bet that is the kiss of death to that now). Still take a small water feed from the back of the head to feed the turbo, also stops any possible stagnant areas in the back of the head. ALso have a restricto in the water outlet from the head (front) to maintain a good pressure in the head water jacket.
Current injectors are a bit big for low speed running (630cc/min) and I will need to convert to 8 injectors to get any more power out (when I get the bigger turbo) and to maintain driveability (the current injectors are running to 90% duty cycle anyway).
Sorry for the length of this post, I hope this is enough info. I have been modifying this car for quite some time now, so as it has been a gradual development, I have probably forgotten something. What ever you do, don't ask about the suspension, I could go on even longer about that!

About this suspension then.......................................................
Sounds scary to me Martin, must be great fun. Just seen Nick Mann on Motors TV in his new car with a jet engine providing constant pressure 30 to a 1700 ford motor, think he said it was running 500bhp but he is raising the turbo pressure to 45psi to give over 600+. Did not see your beast on this particular programe, but I did miss the first 10 mins.
Again nice pics of a well sotred car

Jonathon,
I think my run was shown in the round 2 programme (from the event in June) I think it is round 3 being shown now, I may have been told about it near the end of that programme run (unfortunately). Nick got FTD at round 3!

Here's mine. Need to take more pics really... and clean up the engine bay and and and...
Anyone going to the Retro Rides Gathering up at Gaydon next weekend? They've just announced Minors get in free - being 60 and all. Modified or standard.
Details here:

Actually I'll cross-post this.
Just up the road from you Jonathon, if you were to bring up a beastie in a private capacity.

Martin, I think i'm in love with you car lol, i bet its a handful out on the track.
So i did a 4age conversion on my '51 morris last summer but just before i was able to finish it i started college and was unable to work on it for 9 months. I finished the conversion this summer and here she is. ( keep in my mind i'm a poor college student and don't have the funding to build a nice looking car lol)
I really need to focus on cleaning up the wiring, it looks awful.

T34 roller bearing turbo which is currently restricting the engine (to around 450 BHP).
Well Martin thats some output (and fairly quick I expect) and most owners would be happy with 20% of that
