Morris Minor Owners Club

I own a Series 2 Minor built in Dec 54, registered Jan 55, it has the grille with the horizontal bars. Currently the grille and wheels are painted cream, and the body colour is smoke blue. Looking at photos of other Series 2 cars it seems that it is common for the grille and wheels to be in the body colour, although I know that the later Minor 1000 always had cream grille/wheels. Can someone please advise what is the correct factory colour for the wheels and grille on my car?

your car should have body coloured grille and wheels. Also, Smoke Blue cars came with Maroon trim and carpets originally.....

Most of the on line specialists sell spray cans which they will post out to you.....

Oooh, smoke blue with maroon interior. My favourite colour scheme! Very rare.
