For my 61 Pickup, picked up two sets of door closing hardware (to pull doors shut from inside.
Leather strap is gone. Can someone tell me the length of that folded-over leather strap?
TIA

I'm just going to wing it... I figure about 5" to 6" length should be enough for the hand to loop through to pull door shut.
I'm assuming most of you have the more modern door pulls on your car.
The brackets that I got still have the leather bits in them, so at least I know the strap thickness and width. Was just hoping someone had an original and knew the exact length.
Not a big deal, though

I've got some new ones somewhere, though none on any doors, I don't think. I'll try and get a measurement for you tomorrow - it's 00.15 here just now

Oh dear - the only ones I can find to measure are a couple of bits of an old belt which someone has put on one of them, but they're 6 inches. I'll ask elsewhere for a more accurate measure, and post the outcome

From the rivet center to bottom edge is 120mm. Total length of leather strap is 250mm. if you need it the width is 35mm
