we have a jag xj 4.2 the engine is siezed solid,so i think it needs a second hand runner fitted,i have freed the brakes off but it needs new ones of those fitted,also some pannel work a sil a wheel arch and rear vallance can anyone point me in the right direction we do have a budjet and dont want to go mad but we do want the car on the road many thanks dale.

The mechanical work - although heavy - is likely to be straightforward. But the body work could be never ending. I would say get it VERY thoroughly surveyed before doing any work on it. Surely if you join the local Jag Owners Club - they will advise contacts ? And finally - if you do get it running - what about the cost of fuel for that monster engine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
