Unleaded fuel consumption

Post by alanworland »

I have until recently been able to get proper 4 star petrol but since running on unleaded with an additive I have noticed an increase in MPG
Unless my figures are adrift my last tankfull gave me 48!! to the gallon
Is this possible?

But Dale you have an unleaded head and Alan doesnt.
How much difference does it appear to have made and what engine do you have Alan as a matter of interest.
Cheers

Still the original sidevalve engine I'm afraid - a proper sheep in wolves clothing! and its done over 80,000 since the engine was rebuilt!
