I have a prop from a Minor that runs from a 5 speed box to a Marina diff. I have a Minor diff on my car. Is the bolt spacing the same on Marina and Minor? If not can I splice a Minor end onto the rear UJ?

Hello Peetee,

I can't answer your first question, but if it is necessary the ends can be swopped. It is a job for a specialist though, so look for a propellor shaft reconditioner.

you should be able to split the UJ & fit a minor flange to it
the only problem I can think of is the length of the prop if it was sized for a marina axle I think they have a different nose length but could be wrong

I measured the prop on mine whilst under it today
a rough measurement from the centers of the yokes each end is about 42"

I have a prop designed for a Minor with a 5 speed mated to a Marina axle.
The question really is whether the Marina nose is different to the Minor one.

Doesnt the Marina use triumph axle/diff and box parts?

In your shoes I'd assume they're different and be very happy if they're not.
